Thomas Grant Cole, 43, of Decatur passed away in his residence on Monday June 20, 2011.
A private family memorial mass will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Jeff Grant as celebrant. Cremation rites have been accorded. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Mt. Zion is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to the Heritage Behavioral Health Center at P.O. Box 710 Decatur, IL 62523
Thomas was born on September 14, 1967 to Jane Ellen Priddy and James Mummert but later changed his last name to Cole. Thomas attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Thomas is survived by his parents Donald Eugene and Jane Ellen Cole of Dalton City, IL; father James Mummert and his wife Terri of Coffeyville, KS; sister Susan Wilkerson and husband Phillip of San Tan Valley, AZ; two half sisters Jodi Cole of Decatur and Casie Cole of San Diego, CA; grandmother Marion Priddy of Mt. Zion; three nieces, one nephew, two great nieces and several aunts and uncles also survive.
Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents Hugh Priddy, Warren and Vivian Mummert.
